1. Purpose and Scope
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how NSROMA.AFRICA processes, packages, dispatches, and delivers physical products purchased through nsroma.africa.
This Policy applies to African wall art and sculpture, African textile crafts and accessories, and handcrafted utility and decorative crafts sold through our website.
For Ghana-related online transactions, electronic order confirmations and delivery communications may be handled in accordance with Ghana’s Electronic Transactions Act, 2008 (Act 772).
This Policy should be read with our Terms & Conditions and Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy.
2. Delivery Locations
NSROMA.AFRICA operates from Ghana and Nigeria. Available delivery locations, delivery charges, and shipping options will be shown at checkout where available.
We may deliver within Ghana, Nigeria, or to other locations where a suitable delivery option is available. Delivery availability may depend on the product, order size, delivery address, courier coverage, and applicable shipping restrictions.
If we cannot deliver to your selected address after an order is placed, we will contact you where reasonably possible to discuss an alternative delivery arrangement, cancellation, or refund.
3. Order Processing
Orders are processed after payment has been successfully confirmed.
Processing may include order verification, product preparation, quality checks, secure packaging, and arranging collection by a delivery provider.
Some products may require additional preparation time because they are handmade, artisan-produced, fragile, made with natural materials, or prepared to order. Where relevant, any additional processing information will be shown on the product page or communicated after purchase.
Orders may take longer to process during promotions, public holidays, high-demand periods, or where additional verification is reasonably required.
4. Delivery Estimates
Any delivery date or delivery timeframe displayed on the website, at checkout, or in an order confirmation is an estimate unless expressly confirmed otherwise.
Delivery may be affected by:
- Product availability and order-processing requirements;
- Courier collection schedules;
- Delivery-address accuracy;
- Public holidays or peak shopping periods;
- Weather conditions;
- Customs or regulatory processes, where applicable;
- Transport disruption; and
- Other events outside our reasonable control.
NSROMA.AFRICA will take reasonable steps to keep customers informed where we become aware of a material delay.
5. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed before you complete checkout.
Charges may vary depending on the delivery address, product size, weight, fragility, courier option, order value, or delivery speed selected.
Any promotion offering free or reduced-cost delivery will apply only where the applicable terms are clearly displayed before purchase.
6. Delivery Address and Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide a complete, accurate, and accessible delivery address, including any necessary area, building, landmark, or contact information.
You are responsible for checking the delivery details before completing your order. NSROMA.AFRICA is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or additional delivery costs caused by inaccurate, incomplete, or inaccessible delivery information provided by the customer.
Where required, you should ensure that you, an authorised recipient, or another suitable person is available to receive the delivery.
If an order is returned to us because it could not be delivered due to customer-provided address errors, repeated failed delivery attempts, refusal of delivery without a valid reason, or failure to collect an order, we may contact you to arrange re-delivery. Additional delivery charges may apply.
7. Fragile and Handmade Products
Many NSROMA.AFRICA products are handmade, fragile, or made from natural materials. We aim to package items carefully for transit.
Customers should inspect packages carefully upon delivery. If packaging appears visibly damaged, take photos where possible and notify the delivery provider and NSROMA.AFRICA promptly.
Reasonable differences in handmade products, including natural variations in colour, texture, carving, weaving, pattern placement, dimensions, or finish, do not necessarily indicate transit damage or a defect.
8. Delivery Completion and Risk
Delivery is completed when the order is delivered to the address provided at checkout, received by you or an authorised recipient, or otherwise made available according to the selected delivery method.
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. If an item is missing, damaged, incorrect, or appears defective, contact us promptly and provide your order reference, a description of the issue, and supporting photos where available.
This section does not affect consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including rights that may apply under Ghana’s Sale of Goods Act, 1962 (Act 137) and Nigeria’s Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act, 2018.
9. Delayed, Missing, or Incorrect Deliveries
If your order is delayed, missing, incomplete, or incorrectly delivered, contact us through the Support Email with:
- Your full name;
- Order number;
- Registered email address;
- Delivery address;
- A description of the issue; and
- Any relevant screenshots, courier updates, or photographs.
We may review available order, courier, dispatch, and delivery records to investigate the matter. Where a delivery issue is verified, we may provide tracking assistance, re-delivery, replacement, refund review, or another appropriate solution.
10. International Delivery and Customs
Where NSROMA.AFRICA offers delivery outside Ghana or Nigeria, the customer may be responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, clearance charges, or local delivery charges imposed by the destination country.
Customs procedures may delay delivery. NSROMA.AFRICA does not control customs authorities or destination-country import requirements.
11. Changes to This Policy
NSROMA.AFRICA may update this Policy when its delivery methods, courier arrangements, product range, shipping locations, or legal obligations change.
The revised Policy will display an updated Last Updated Date.
